About Riley

Riley originally started performing as a competitive gymnast. As one could imagine, this was very regimented and all trainings were intended for PERFECT execution, only to be judged by a small handful of judges. He eventually competed as a college athlete for Arizona State and retired from the sport in 2011. Riley is thankful to this sport for giving him the work ethic and physical ability of an athlete, along with the obsessive drive for perfection. We wont talk about the rebellious angst he developed as a result.

After 16 years of that, Riley began training in Live Theatre. Acting and the Fourth Wall became my life. While typically playing the villain in Dramatic productions, Riley gravitated more to the play of Comedy. Ultimately performing in Wicket: A Star Wars Musical Parody before Circus whispered tantalizing offers in his ear.

2019 brought acrobatics into his life and Riley moved, yet again, to San Diego to perform in SeaWorld’s Cirque Electrique. After an amazing summer filled with sun, friends, and a nose filled with salt water, Riley moved to Las Vegas. We all know how 2020 was (thank you COVID) but in 2022 he got cast for Cirque Du Soleil’s KA! Most people would stop here, the peak of Circus life. Not Riley. So began his journey into Clown.

Currently, Riley spends his free time to help run the 1230 Clowns and produce monthly-ish shows at the Vegas Theatre Company. Slap-stick, ideocracy, grotesque, and play now spark his creativity. While getting to perform, Riley’s also been able to develop his craft as a Director, Stage Manager, and Producer. Not to mention create a show alongside two very talented performers that will be performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer!
